Getting to Phuket by air

The direct domestic flight service lasts about one hour and 20 minutes, but some services land in Hat Yai for about 30 minutes. Also available are frequent flight services to and from Hat Yai.
Bangkok Airways operates twice daily a flight between Koh Samui and Phuket. However, during June and September the carrier operates only one flight per week.
Recently Angle Airlines started to operate flight services to Phuket from Singapore and Bangkok. The Phuket international Airport represents an office of the carrier.
THAI runs services between Phuket and a number of international airports, including Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi and Penang. Travelling by a helicopter, which can carry seven passengers, is offered by Southern Helicopter service at Phuket Airport. This convenient service covers the entire island of Phuket along with Phi Phi and Ao Phang Nga beach. Small aircraft charters are provided by Southern Flying Group.
