Phuket Hosts the International Tennis Federation Pro Circuit 2011

As of tomorrow Phuket will be hosting the Chang International Tennis Federation (IFC) Pro Circuit 2011. This is the first time Phuket has had the honour of hosting this great event, which ends on November 12^th. This famed men’s tennis tournament will bring in loads of visitors and the lucky winner will receive 10,000 US dollars.

The matches take place at the Thanyapura Sports & Leisure Club (TSLC), who has recently resurfaced their courts to match those in Melbourne Park, where the Australian Open tennis tournament was held. Big name tennis starts from Thailand will be there, as well as tennis players from other countries throughout the world who play on the satellite circuit. With so much talent under one roof it is sure to bring plenty of spectators.

The venue has a capacity of 600, so there is plenty of space for everyone. But you should still be sure to arrive early. The doors will open everyday at 9am, and close at 6pm.
